En el Pabellón de la Navegación de la Isla de la Cartuja se puede ver la exposición egipcia Ramses, rey de reyes organizada por Amr Gaber y Hany Mostafa, el artista que después de once meses de trabajo, ha conseguido hacer la réplica de la fachada del templo de Nefertari con una altura de seis metros y una anchura de 14 metros.
Es la primera vez en Europa que se puede ver esta réplica del templo que Ramses II ordenó construir, hace más de 3.000 años, en honor a su primera gran Esposa Real.
Además de esta réplica del templo de Nefertari se puede ver la del templo de Abu Simbel, con una altura de seis metros, 13 metros de anchura y 24 metros de profundidad, que reproduce su famosa fachada y sus tres estancias interiores. Hany Mostafa tardó en realizarla 5 años.
En la exposición también se puede observar más de 60 piezas de arte egipcio, estatuillas, joyería, mobiliario y utensilios. Destacan el tercer y último sarcófago de oro macizo de Tutankhamun, en el que fue enterrado.
Hasta el 6 de septiembre el horario de visita es de lunes a viernes de las 10 a las 14 horas, y por la tarde, desde las seis hasta las once. Los sábados, domingos y festivos es horario continuo de 10 a 23 horas. A partir del 6 de septiembre se puede ir de lunes a domingo, desde las 10 horas hasta las nueve de la noche. La parte de la visita que corresponde al templo de Abu Simbel y a la fachada de Nefertari, es guiada, el resto del recorrido es libre.
El precio de las entradas es de 7 euros los adultos, 6 euros los niños a partir de 3 años, los grupos familiares de 3 personas pagan 18 euros, y los de más de 20 personas a 5 euros cada uno y un responsable gratis.
